THE CERTIFICATION COURSE The certification package, available through Aircraft Technical Book Company and conducted by AeroEd, includes instructor guidance, chapter exams, and a final exam delivered via email. An AeroEd instructor will be available to clarify any aspects of the system that you find unclear. Chapter tests can be taken at your own pace, with no time limit before the final exam.
Upon Completion of the Course, You Will Be Able To:
- Identify safety precautions related to the airframe, its systems, and powerplant.
- Recognize maintenance practices crucial for the airframe, its systems, and powerplant.
- Define the layout of each major system within the aircraft.
- Understand the layout and characteristics of the powerplant.
- Identify special tooling and test equipment used with the aircraft.
Upon enrollment, your name and authorization will be submitted to AeroEd. Your AeroEd instructor will contact you via email within one business day to introduce themselves and initiate the process.
After successfully passing the final exam, a certificate will be issued by AeroEd, along with 40 AMT Awards Points through the FAA FAAST program.
